PERSPECTIVE is understanding the relative importance of things as seen from a certain viewpoint. My viewpoint comes from eight decades of living and fifty-eight years of active ministry.
Through these years, I’ve been seeking honest answers to three great questions: 1) who is God in my life right now? 2) who am I in this powerful new season of my life? 3) what shall I do with the years that remain?
It’s different where you are. And it’s the same. Pastors, business and professional leaders, retirees, parents with adult children, adult children with aging parents, we all long for it. Something more in our spiritual journey. The real reason we are still here. The “why” of you and me. An authentic spiritual life lived out in the human
condition. True perspective.
Join me in letting life’s ordinary elements of pathos and humor, pros and poetry, reason and faith, facts and fiction, bump up against ancient truths of the Bible, letting them deepen and expand your own answers to these great questions, who is God, who am I, and what shall I do?
