Seven years ago, Grace Grafton died in a boating accident while partying on the Georgia, South Carolina coast. Was her death the result of alcohol and drugs or something more sinister? Nobody knows: her body was never recovered. Now years later, a woman reads in disbelief the note addressed to her: Hello Grace, did you think we wouldn’t find you?
Those nine chilling words end Grafton’s self-imposed sanctuary of witness protection. Now she and everyone she loves are in grave danger. Long believed dead, she has a secret that can change the world. She knows the man running for president is guilty of a double murder! But who will believe her?

What readers are saying about Redeeming Grace:
6 stars out of a possible five!
This is what nightmares are made of. Take a plunge into the dark side of life with Taylor as she runs from her past, in which the only mistake she made was to want to have a good time. Learn with her as she finds out that though man may plan, God is still in control, whether it feels like it or not.
Redeeming Grace a novel that has taken suspense and drama to the top level. First of all, do not be turned off by the size and weight of this novel. It is worth every word. This would be a great book to take on a vacation, not because it is relaxing (that is one word I could not use to describe it) but because it would be best to have no distractions when reading it. Again, it would not be because you need to have a place of utter attentiveness to get into the book, but you will not want to put it down for anything, not even eating. I have the hard copy, but actually requested the ebook form for ease of reading. Yes, it the airplane would be an ideal place to read this, as the attendants would not let you stay on past your destination.
Just thinking about it, gets my adrenaline rushing, and it has been a week since I finished it.

A book full of mystery and intrigue is what you can expect out of Ward Tanneberg’s latest Redeeming Grace. Sitting on the edge of your seat suspense. The beginning of the book had me puzzled for a few chapters. Grace Grafton is thought to have died many years prior when two of her friends were brutally murdered. But unbeknownst to anyone she wasn’t murdered and now lives as on the run as Taylor. Great book Mr. Tanneberg!

Excellent book. I loved the story of Grace and the suspense was top notch. My favorite part of the story was all the friends she made and who helped her defeat the villain. This story was so vivid it made my heart race, the descriptions were so vivid. It was difficult for me to find a stopping point to end my reading for the day. I gave this a 5 star review on Amazon and Goodreads. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

I was a little overwhelmed by the size of it (597 pages). Then I opened it and saw that the font is fairly large and appears to be at least 1½ spaced. That made it a little less daunting. I found it to be a fairly quick read. It was an intricately written, attention holding suspense. Once I had started reading it I knew that I would not be able to abandon it. By the time I was 400 pages into it I knew that I wouldn’t be able to find any more stopping places and would have to plan enough time I picked it up again to finish it. There were definitely points that I found myself questioning Grace, “How could you make such stupid choices?” Yet I know that we all make stupid decisions at times and those are usually what we need to be redeemed from. The title is very appropriate and fitting.

“Redeeming Grace” by Ward Tanneberg is definetly a 5 star book in my opinion. All I can say is Wow. I don’t usually like thrillers but this book changed my mind! This book has murder, evil, and good and in the end you realize that God is on His throne. This book makes you believe that good does win in the end and greed does not ! I loved the different characters and the descriptions in the different settings in this story. I could actually see the story being played out in my mind as I was reading it. This would make a great movie, it would have violence so not sure it will be suitable for young children but I am sure adults would love it as a movie This book starts out with the mystery and then goes to the present and then back and forth between the two, but I feel that is what made it such a great read! It really kept me wanting to finish the book to see what was going to happen. Now that I have finished the book I want a sequel to see what happens to the other characters in the story!
Redeeming Grace will keep you turning the pages well into the night as the story unfolds from the East Coast to the West. Ward Tanneberg does an excellent job developing characters and creating a suspenseful storyline.

Although this book was very lengthy, it kept my attention the whole way through! Grace Grafton has been hiding for 7 years. Although she’s done very well at hiding herself, circumstances change for her. There is a lot of mystery and twists in this book. This book kept me curious to the very end! I give this book a full 5 stars! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. I received this book from bookfun.org to read for my honest opinion. Thanks to the author, publisher and bookfun.org for allowing me to review this book!

This is probably the longest single-story book i have ever read. I am used to 20-30 chapter books so 93 chapters took me by surprise. The story is great! One thing you should know-no matter what your situation, if you truly are innocent God will make sure you are redeemed. Look how people from all over the place started popping up to risk their life in order to save Grace and her family. One thing that was awesome and not so good at the same time was – the details. They seemed to drag the story but at the same time they formed each character into a real-full-functioning person that I was greatful for them. Confusing huh?!
I am glad I had the privilege to be introduced to Mr Tanneberg through book club and was given his book to read. It truly is a great action story. Even my husband listened to me retell it– which he never is interested in what I read. I’m debating between a strong 4 and a weak 5 and that’s because of the details–I’m terrible I know because they really are a benefit in itself. So 5 it is.. 🙂 Please read and enjoy, I know I did. Please let yourself be surprised by the story line. That note mentioned on the back cover is nothing compared to the real suspense in the story.

It has been a while since I read a book that I could not put down, that held my interest up to the end, and that uplifted my spirits, reminding me that there is something or someone else in control, and that evil does not always win. It restored my faith in the humanity within all of us. Hats off to Ward Tanneberg!

I was worried when I first started this book that I wouldn’t be able to finish it. It did a lot of jumping from plot point to plot point and was a bit confusing. However, I told myself to give it a little more time…and I’m glad I did!

The book was very good from the beginning, lots of twists and turns. Great plot line and interesting, easy to relate to characters.

Great read on so many levels…Don’t think my heart rate was normal for at least.a day after finishing the book! It has everything; good story line, suspense, political intrigue, romance, moral dilemmas, whatever you look for in a novel – this book has it.

This is a very good book. Highly recommended, couldn’t put the book down. It’s one of those books that make you want a few more chapters.
~ Pamela Sheldrick
This story is haunting and I was unable to put down the book, reading far into the night. The plot is masterful, successfully combining flashbacks with current challenges for Grace. The resolution of the story is riveting. I strongly suggest not starting this book unless you have a block of time to read, for you won’t want to stop reading. Woven within the story is a wonderful faith-filled reliance on God. One cannot help but fall in love with Good Sam and the Bible stories told by Ellie.
~ Heather Marsten
I love, love, loved this book. I didn’t want to see it end. I read it in 2 days and Grace’s story held me captive till the last page. And as a wonderful bonus–no swearing or vivid smut scenes. It was just a great, great Christian story. This author has a real talent for writing and needs to write more. Please please do!!!

Very well written. And great suspense. The characters are very real and believable. I didn’t find any loop holes in the story. Although I have found that this book like all the others I have read on Kindle needs a better proofreader. I will look for more books by this author.

I found that this book contained an awakening of faith, a deeper understanding that race doesn’t matter, an increased strength in one’s self, along with nail-biting anticipation to see Grace win … Overall, I believe the author did a good job with the crisis of faith, the meaning of family, and beating the system.
~ Anita F. Napier
This was the first book I read from Ward Tanneberg and it cost me a sleepless night. Taylor/Grace’s story prevented me from closing the book until I finished reading the whole thing in one sitting.
Well written, good characters, positive nature, easy read. Quite plausible, nasty villains, and plucky main character as heroine. All in all a good read.
~ Joseph S. Leeper
This book has many twists and turns to keep you in suspense until the end. Well worth reading this book.
